Information Architect

Wolfmotell, a brand and advertising agency, is looking for a talented, self motivated Information Architect to join our growing, dynamic team. Our work spans the range of innovative web-enabled applications, corporate websites, application user interfaces and product design to direct response landing pages, micro-sites, and emails campaigns for both B2B and consumer audiences. We create real, measurable user experiences, for a growing list of fortune 1000 companies.

As an Information Architect, you will be responsible for defining how information is organized by creating wireframes, schematics, site maps, and visual specifications for a wide range of interactive projects for our clients. This position will report directly to the Interactive Director.

The candidate should possess a strong understanding of user-centered design processes and be proficient at translating business and user requirements into compelling conceptual designs, structural architectures, and functional specifications for consumer and business websites.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, content, and features for design of a wide range of interactive projects
• Analyze audiences and their information and functional needs
• Defining navigational structures for websites and other interactive experiences
• Collaborate with the Creative team to define user experiences
• Work within the organization's guidelines and processes
• Producing work in a budget- and schedule-conscious manner
• Track details of multiple projects and interact with people at all levels of the organization
• Track and implement emerging trends in interactive technologies, content delivery, and marketing communication tactics
• Have fun and bring creative energy

Qualifications

• Mastery in developing user personas, user process flows, site maps and wireframes
• Expertise in user research and usability testing
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
• 3+ years of experience in interactive media design
• A minimum of 2 years in a role exclusively addressing information architecture
• Ability to research, understand and organize specialized content
• Excellent writing, speaking, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Experience and/or interest in mentoring others
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Visio
• Strong creative problem solving skills
• Ability to learn quickly and deal well with ambiguous situations
• Expert knowledge of all steps required in the creative development process
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
